I think some of us have lost site of the fact that the black box is just a
signal generator, providing step and direction signals to drivers for the
steppers. The original point of all this black box stuff, back many months
ago, was to take the step generation load off of the control PC. If I
understand what Mariss is doing, he is just developing a signal generator to
provide step and direction pulses to Gecko's or other drivers. The
DeskWinNC board is just a signal generator that talks to anybody's drivers.
