Sorry if I have missed some part of the discussion here, but wat do you mean
by motion routines ?
I suppose the traject planning and interpolation is calculated on some
powerfull PC (pentium) witch calculates
every 100uS a new point on the traject, and 'send' it to each
microcontroller based card ?
I think it is impossible for a 8bit uP to do such math in such a time.
It has to be a high speed serial connection too.
