Re: Linear rail & ball screw size suggestions

This is for all-thread.

If you use a 1 inch screw 8 TPI and a 1 inch long nut, you only have
8 engaged threads. The nut will have a noticeable wobble.

if your nut was 6 inches long, it would have 48 threads and all the
normal mechanical missalignent would equal itself out to a great
degree.

Put a standard nut on a screw, then a long coupling nut. the long
nut has much less movement, a longer nut will have even less.
