Howdy Jan, Dave;

It's just a thought, but if interchangeability is an issue you could allways
make a common plate that the custom ones can all bolt up to. With that sort of
thing you could even make some extra holes so that you could have some commonly
used angles off from straight vertical, like 30, 45, 60, and 90 degrees to
either side. It ain't a rotary swing mechanism, but would do for some jobs.
