You make a good point about sizing for a larger router. I had this in mind
but I am hoping the smaller unit will work. I will make an allowance for it.

My preliminary estimate is the overall size of the machine will be in the
neighborhood of 24" x 18" allowing for the router. mount and linear
components. The Data-cut machine that I have plans for uses the shaft and
rail systems and I was going to scale down much of that design. I have 176oz
Powermax motors to use.
