dust and rails ( was Re: Linear rail & ball screw size suggestions

Since this is a project specific machine and I am only cleaning up
the edge of roughed out aluminim parts, I am using a 1/4 steel base,
4"steel channel as the upright and cross beam. And more channel
under the table for stiffening.

I was looking at using some old rail road rails but cutting them is
just too much work. Besides, I may have to move it one day.

I think with my setup, I'll be able to use pretty much any router
that I can fit.

I think I am like most on here, we just use what's laying around.

The parts will be held by a vacuum table and they are 0.08" thick
aluminum.
