laplink for cnc work

Hi Bill,

Thanks for help in reinstatement. Others, do remember to change
option to "no email" when you go off on vacation.

Anyone used laplink to transfer before? I will be using some old
computers for cnc work which cannot be networked, and I need to
transfer some big acad files, etc. Is laplink easy to use? There seem
to be so many versions? and it seems some will not work with some
version of windows? Which version should one use if one expect to
work with 486's MMX etc.
