Hi Jon,
very little techincal ability is required for +/-0.005"
a steady hand and a good eye and you can get +/-0.002"
with some electronics and the right fluid, 5 tenth's is possible.
Does it replace the master level? no way. but they both work on the
same principle, that the quality of manufacturing equals quality of
accuracy.
