An update:

I went to http://www.intellicadms.com/ who say *nothing* about their
version being time-limited. I registered, downloaded the demo version,
unzipped it and the splash screen says "120 day trial"! Great! So now
two companies that will never see a dollar of mine have my personal info.

Now that I had the filename "setupIcad" I did a websearch and found a copy
of Intellicad 2000 installation at:

http://www.arch.adelaide.edu.au/~twyeld/ftp/intellicad/

along with the zipped 2000 user guide. Unfortunately, the self-extracting
zipfile is password protected...

Dang! All I want is a program to import a DXF file, explode all the
polylines into individual lines and arcs, and re-DXF it so I can bring it
into VersaCAD (VCAD doesn't do polylines.)

Does anyone know of a standalone utility to explode polylines in the DXF?
