Check your phone provider but I only pay 10c per minute from
Toronto to Perth, Australia (which is a 12 hour time difference - Dan is
also in the same time zone). Surely your project can afford a couple
of bucks of phone time?

Also, take note of Dan's request for "all of your parameters" I have
seen these sorts of "simple" projects go off the rails due to "mis-
understandings". I would suggest you make a couple of dimensioned
hand sketches to help describe your requirements - if you don't have
access to a CAD system. Scan and email or fax them before you call.
That way you can review the dwgs and ensure a clear understanding
exists.

By the way Dan, you suggested a very simple and elegant technique -
rather than "CADing" the geometry (not always easy) using Excel to
create pure geometric point sets has given me some ideas... Thanks
for the ingeniously clever method!
