Bill,
Dean's post just gave me a thought. If you require speed control, and
you'll be using coolant, you might consider a heavy-duty flex shaft tool.
The one I have, has a speed control dial on the base, and mounting the drive
motor remotely, would keep it away from any damage by coolant. The spindle
collets can take several sizes of shanks, from 1/4" down, and for odd sizes,
I have the smallest size Jacobs chuck, with a 1/4" arbor.
