Hi Bill, wow, nicely done. Those parts look great. Please tell me you
will be upgrading to more powerful motors though. Nothing wrong with
those motors or driver box, but you may soon find that you need more
power. Shame to under power such a beautiful machine.
As for spindle motors, I have had good luck with my Dewalt laminant
trimmer. It is 5 amp and has lasted a long time. The bearings in the
first Rotozip tool I bought burned out in a month. Also, you might
want to pick up a router speed control. I have made light cuts in
aluminum this way using lots of coolant.
