This answer is not totally correct.

Yes, when you connect two in parallel they will not load balance
perfectly, but they will work just fine and you will get the higher
current you need. You don't have to use individual power supply on each
drive as this poster is recommending. I have 4 CNC systems using
multiple paralleled transformers and there are many others on the list
that are also running with the same power supply setup. But, all the
ones I have set up have used equally rated transformers (i.e. 2 - 10 amp
transformers for a 20 amp supply). I will let the more electrically
savvy comment on using mixed current transformers.
