I'd be willin' to bet that you *can* combinr the *rectified* DC outputs in
parallel... IF their AC output voltages match VERY close (within 1%, not,
uncommon in commercial trx's of the same model). But, that means two
bridge rectifiers (about $3.00/ea). The smoothing capacitor should allow
the slight mis-match. Best bet is to use only one transformer, though.
Anybody up to winding your own?? I'd be willing to design one, if we could
all agree upon a standard lamination size, and power outputs. That was my
job for about 10 years, back in the '80's.
