I notice that you post this message on Monday. Did anyone reponse to you yet ? I also own a Dyna 2400 mill and the first thing that I want to do is to hook it up to my pc. The first thing that I needed was a R232 Cable. This is a special cable that allow communication from the pc to the controller. Not any null modem cable, but a special cable that was setup for this. I'm having problem at first locating this cable, because of the age of the machine, no one seem to supports it at the present time. Anyhow, I was able to create my own and use hyperterminal program to send ASCII file to it. You may need to read a little on the "G code" programming side, but If you rather use special CAD/CAM program such as MasterCam, it will simplified your work and it also come with it own Dyna post processor and communication program.
