Hi,

I don't believe that the 114 oz/in motors are adequate for the Taig mill.
General consensus is that the Mill requires motors around the 200 Oz/in
mark.

A 114 oz/in motor will drive the mill but the max speed will be reduced. The
standard Taig motors (180 oz/in I think) will give a max speed of around 60
in/min. Not that you would want to drive it that fast. Most people seem to
set the max speed to around 45 in/min.

And no one cuts that fast :-)
