Hi Peter,

You are right "And no one cuts that fast :-)". Who sets the consensus on the
motor size I was not involved in this?
I have found it to be fine for the jobs I am doing. I am running them at
5-15in/min on most of my feedrates anyway. The maximum speed that these
motors will do is about 18-20in/min. That is derated they will go faster but
you are pushing a lot of pulses to them and they loose steps every once in a
while. These are 8 microsteps drives X 200 steps revolution X 20tpi thread =
32000 pulses per inch. The lead screws are very smooth and do not require
very much torque to move.
