Jon, I wanted to say thank you. You were right on on this problem
for me. After some calculations, I dropped a resistor into the line
that approximately simulated the load the circuit was supposed to
run. After some adjusting of my meter ranges (was accidently on
milivolts and read overload) I got an almost perfect reading of
24vdc from the supply. This supply runs off from a dual seconday
coil trans wired in parallel, this really threw me as I had never
seen one of these. There was also an inductor in this supply, which
really made me wonder about load conditions. So thanks again, you
were exactly right. I look forward to more good advice from the
group in the future.
