Hi, I am not up on mach2 but i am with master5cnc. first the auxiliary
outputs from the Par. port are 1,14,16,17
step outputs 2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9
inputs 10,11,12,13,15
aux out is used for spindle, coolant etc.
step and direction output is on 2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9
so if you tried to send steps to pin 1 wont happen. IMHO
I think this convention we are stuck with using Par port.
give the step outputs a try. cul brian f.
