Ray,
The original G2002 (I think) interfaced via the serial port. A FTDI
FT232 Virtual USB com port was added. I can't remember if the original
serial port exists.
Effectively, the G200X is running via a serial protocol, so it should
work. It just depends whether the serial port is fast enough. From,
memory it is.
I'm not sure if the new G200X will have a serial interface in addition
to the USB virtual serial interface.
