No, and the recent bit about Mach being "closed loop"
is not quite true. They've got a hack there that checks
actual position ten times a second, so it can stop if the following
error gets too big. But, it is not closing the loop at the computer,
but just generating step pulses as before.

If you want 10 V velocity command signals, at least right now
you really need EMC. There are 3 or 4 (at least) interfaces
that will take it from there to analog. (I've been using EMC this
way since 1998.)
