EMC does much more than simple step/direction. With a suitable interface, it
will control industry standard +/-10V servos with encoder resolutions in the
sub-micron range.
It will also interface to a number of stepper drives, the regular step/dir
types, as well as two phase, four phase and quadrature. If you need some
odd-ball stepping output, you also have full & free access to ALL the source
code.
