At some point, it would be time to use new defining terms for both "Cosed Loop" systems. Something like Closed loop/ correct and Closed loop/ detect. Then, we could have the same type of "civil" discussions like we have with the " what's better, servo/stepper" . My thoughts are any improvement is better then none.

detect a state/condition and take an action based on that.

This does not mean that the machine/devise as a whole
works in a closed loop. That only comes with a fully
integrated closed loops system, where every error
