familiar with the linear encoders.

things like this which may seem self evident to you,
already knowing the technical data, WILL be obscure to
ppl who aren't and confusing to ppl who measure
voltages with Volts and current with Amps.
after your 'explanation' there is still insufficient
information (for me). this is my own deficiency,
certainly.
volts pp at 11uA would be really nice to know.
knowing is it full quadrature would be rather
necessary if one intends to decode step/dir signals.
a resistor and a comparator isn't the whole job, if i
understood what little i did correctly.
and i'm off the case. this is exactly what i didn't
want to get sucked into. bleh.
debouncing circuit takes 15 seconds
quadrature decoder takes 5 minutes
my allotted time for this problem has been consumed by
discussion. account is now empty.
