Uh - just to point out the thinko in the above paragraph (I know you
know what you meant, Jon):
Volts = Resistance * Amps

So you have 11 uA, or 0.000011 A * 1000 ohms, which yields the correct
result of 0.011 V, or 11 millivolts.

Just to avoid future confusion. :)
