Re: Glass cutting

Sounds like a neat idea. Isn't using a wheel to scribe glass a lot
like using a knife to cut vinyl? In both cases the cutter only cuts in
one direction. Mach3 has the ability to turn the knife, using an axis
motor on the cutter shaft, in the direction of the cut. You might try
searching on tangenital (sp?) cutters on the web or vinyl cutting in
the Mach3 group.

Could you use a diamond scriber instead of a wheel to do your
scribing? I think engravers use them. It would scratch in any direction.
