Yeah, I always forget about glass bandsaws. Too slow, too pricey etc. Not
enough use to justify the cost. That said, there are a few cut you can
really only do on a saw.

Now, scroll cutting is on the to-do-eventually list too. Use a scroll saw
(not a bandsaw), round blades and move the wood. Round blades have a wider
kerf, but save you the hassle of rotating the blade (which may not be that
much of a hassle).

Or have rollers either side of the blade to move the wood (in one axis) and
support it, and move the blade in the other axis. Bonus points for rigging
up a mechanism to drill a hole and re-insert the blade (the fun part of
scroll sawing).

I've given it some thought, but that's about it. I'm looking at cutting 3mm
MDF, it's not a coincidence that glass is 3mm thick too... :)

Can you get round bandsaw blades?
