A glass cutter has been on my to-do-eventually list for a while. Glass is
pretty strong stuff - almost as strong as steel. Not quite as tough though.

Straight lines are easy, score and flex. You can tap on the back of the
glass and it will crack where the score is. Or it'll go where it feels
like, it's hard to tell. :)

Curves are hard, especially tight inside curves. There are special tools
(pliers basically) for nibbling out the scrap glass.

If that machine can cut out a jigsaw puzzle piece I'll be seriously
impressed. (I've seen a water jet do it). It's still an interesting
machine.

Diamond scribers are cheap, like the diamond dressing wheels for grinders
you get. Amuses me that I have a couple of 1 carat diamonds in my toolbox
(funky earrings!). Wheel ones are easier to guide on curves, so are easier
to find.

I wish I could do the TV burglar trick.
