Hi,
I have been using Acad for over 10 years and have read many books on the subject, including the series mentioned by another. If I had to pick one it would not be that one but "Just Enough Autocad 2006" by George Omura ISBN: 0-7821-4397-0. There is little difference between 2002 and 2006 and they are certainly not worth the upgrade prices.
As to it not running well in XP, I have had no difficulty running 2002, which is what I use, on any Windows platform provided it was a clean install and not an operating system upgrade.
Regards
Terry
Ps. Is your Bridgeport already setup for CNC or are you doing what I am and fitting the hardware such as ballscrews.
I have a copy of autocad 2002 I can find the Icon to start the
program. is there a DVD or tutorial or book that would help me to get
started.
Have a Bridgeport that I am retrofitting with Mach and want to get
started on autocad.
any help will be greatly appreciated
Thanks
archie =) =) =)
