Terry,
I Just ordered the book on Amazon. Thank you.
as for the retrofit. the machine Is a CNC Servo Machine. It is a
Bridgeport R2E4 with a Boss 9 Control. I have gotten it to come up a
couple of times and was able to jog it on all 3 axises so hopefully I
can get it to limp along with a breakout board, the Pixie
interface/converter cards and Mach3. this is my first cnc machine and
the learning curve has been pretty steep. fortunatly for me I understand
the elecctronics/electrical pretty well. I plan to run the spindle with
a VFD and run the whole machine off of single phase.
How is your retrofit coming.
Thanks again
archie =) =) =)
