Re: supertech

I am a very satisfied Supertech Supercam "Software" only user. Today I
use a homebuilt 3x Gecko driver, in the past I used a basic Dan Mauch
board. The Dan Mauch board worked well as does the Gecko stuff. I
increased the motor sizes and outgrew the 2 amp Dan Mauch boards limits
but in retrospect didn't need to. I've had very good luck with the
software and really like it. I've never found it to drop steps or mess
up once I get it tuned. I find it very convenient to import HPGL files
and interactively plot one off items- I set different depths at colors,
etc and do the work semi manually. I've used it for G-Code too, but
this is pretty crude in supercam. I'm really a fan. Having the optoin
of not having to generate G-Code every time is nice.
