Most cheap keyboards are constructed in such a way that the "key" press on a silicon rubber
pad, and each pad is part of a very large silicon rubber molding. in effect sealing off the
sensitive part of the keyboard electronics. It one ot the many reasons I still use my KeyTronics KB101 because it does NOT use that
kind of key.

Anyway, these brand new "semi sealed" keyboards sell for about US$9-12 around Houston, and for the cost of a special $489 sealed
keyboard I could have a new clean throw away keyboard once a month for the next 40 months, chances are a keyboard will survive
longer than a month.
