It is probably worth flagging a little warning. Remove power before unplugging
motor should include a time for the power supply capacitors to discharge ;) With
a single driver hooked up but 'unloaded' I can see 15 seconds or so of
substantial power, so wait before unplugging.

But the killer one often is testing the power supply before hooking up the
drivers ... Even with a substantial bleed resistor it can take a couple of
minutes for the power to decay to a 'safe' voltage to allow you to wire up the
next stage ...
