and yours is a toy for hobby use and you forgot to mention a
counterweight spring
adjusted from factory to fit a well balanced design.
I keep your inocense very high. But...
... who wants to build his dream machine with tool and pallet changer
should know that as soon you go a little bigger an a band saw you deal
with serious control problems.
Only the saw head alone of a regular 12" DoALL band saw weights itself
about 290 Kg = 640lbs. (to mention only one point)
Don't mind a little sarcasm, its sometimes healthy.
