No, in this case HF stands for "Harbour Freight" which is perhaps the
cheapest (in all senses of the word) of the catalog tool importers.
The basic machine in question, a tilting horizontal/vertical bandsaw
that primarily gets used horizontal mode to cut off stock, is
available from almost all the importers at prices ranging from about
$149-$259. The saw is very popular and even has its own FAQ out there
on the net somewhere covering differences between brands, tuning, and
modifications.
