I just adjusted the feed rate for the worst case basis for the the
particular stock I was cutting. Your approach is a good one and on the
bigger HV bandsaws I would think the Hydraulic feed would be fine with a way
to regulate the cutting feed with a sense switch to determine when the saw
was through the material.
Your concept is good.
