Hello Alan.
I really thank you for the help on this project.
Part off the answers on your questions you will find on the
Site of SIEMENS for LOGO 230RCL
I have following data in the manual:
compensation of failures on tension 10 to 20 ms
tension logical 0 <40V <0,03mA
tension logical 1 >79V >0,08mA
time delay for switching 0 to 1 or 1 to 0 typical 50ms
electromagnetic compatibility CEM
electrostatic discharge IEC 801-2 intensity grade 3
8kV in the air
6kV by contact
electromagnetic field IEC 801-3 10V/m
radio interference suppression EN 55011case limit B group B
Emission of perturbances EN50081-2
immunity to interference's EN50082-2
rafaga (short term) impulses IEC 801-4 grade 3
2kV conductors and signals
Individual surge impulses IEC 801-5 grade 2 500V power line
safety indications CEI / VDE (lasts is Verein Deutscher Elektriker)
dielectric rigidity fulfils IEC 1131
I hope that tells you something. To me not much.
I think about using shielded signal wires and ferrite beads on the power, input
and output lines when I find appropriate ones. The PLC I want to
fix outside the high frequency inductive centrifuge in a separate metal
cage so that only the small incorporated LCD display is visible.
the display is incorporated in the plastic box. and has no extra shielding.
Beside that I thought of putting an additional surge protector on the power
line.
The machine its self does have a pretty big 4" by 4" by 3" RF-filter on the
incoming lines to protect the power supply of the rest of the factory.
These are the information I have at the moment.
Thank you very much
