I don't believe so. If parport.o DOES get automatically loaded when
printing,
it gets removed automatically soon after. I'll have to look. But, no, it
appears
that printing leaves some bit in the LPT port set different from the boot-up
condition, and causes my RT code to not work. It is no big deal, but
sometime
I'll have to dump all the regs before and after printing and see what is
changed.
