If I understand what you are saying here, and I may be misinterpreting it,
that's not a bug, it's a feature! EMC remembers the offset from machine
home to the part coordinate system when EMC is shut down normally.
When you start the program again, it reloads that offset from the .ini
file. the advantage is that if you have accurate home switches it brings
the part coordinate system back in for the next day's work without
using the edge finder or whatever tools you use to align to the part's
coordinate system.
