I am trying to follow this thread but my brain is hurting
as electronics is not my field.
My project is to convert step and direction
from an existing motion control card and software in a pc
to analogue(+/-10v) for a servo system that uses ac servos with
resolver feedback (6 axis). The item to run is a Toshiba robot
in which the amplifiers all work but the front end is dead.
In any case in needs to be controlled via the pc and existing
software.
Does anyone know if such an item is available commercially or
if it is possible to achieve it (without spending megadollars)
Any suggestions would be appreciated.
