I tried using WEST epoxy and powdered graphite. I had some on hand left
over from the teak decks on my steamboat. The mix cured fine, and seemed
very slippery, but my thread was to rough and the mix hung on to tight.
I had to carve it off with a Dremel cutoff wheel.

'Real" Moglice is only about $40 for a small can, enough to do several
screws the size we are talking about here. Why experiement with a
possible mix when the well known, real stuff is relatively cheap?

I wrote a good bit about my work with moglice on a Grizzley mini mill
here, probably early in 1999. Im sure its in the archives somewhere.
