Okay, but you should know that part of the reason
I'm so screwed right now is that I used the BDI.
Don't get me wrong, it works great~!
And is the perfect solution for someone like me who
wants to start making movements and parts in a hurry.
But I think I lost out on having to learn a lot of technique
and technical by using it. Double edged sword there.

Now the stuff below is *exactly* what should be in a manual, IMHO.
Comments interspersed.

So, do you just edit these ini's like in windows,
inserting which one to use, and then saving the file?

What kind of problems?

How heavy a load on the 'puter?
Right now, I'm running and AMD K6-2 400Mhz with 256Mb Ram.
You say not as good as an external generator.
So EMC is generating the step and direction pulses?
How would you use EMC if something else was generating them?

I'll hafta learn more about this after, I suppose.
Baby steps... (or is that a half-step?)

Both of these are above my price and knowledge level right now, I think...

Sim for what?

Thanks for answering all my questions.
And I'll keep my posts to refer to in helping you with the handbook.
