Hi, well the bearing plant near here still has a heap of them just for
cutting tuff metal they make bearings out of. i have worked on 3 of them
over the years and all three were in excellent condition. They are a
pleasure to work on, probably one of the ruggedest machines i have worked
on,smooth steady cutting and accurate. The 16x34 american pacemaker could
make lb. sized chips but just not the accuracy and smoothness of a monarch.
darned nice machine if in good working order. you could spend as much as a
new house buying all the toys that were made to go on one! cul brian f.
