As mentioned before, this machine excells at producing fine finish to
exacting accuracy. That said, I've taken 0.250 off the diameter of
4140 at high speed with carbide inserts many times. Burning hot blue
chips, No problem (5 horse is the limiting factor) I wouldn't do this
with an interupted cut though.
Another upgrade to consider is a top of the line DRO. I can take a
cut, set the readout, and every following cut is right on. NEVER been
able to do this with any other machine.
In summary, I've driven my 10EE a long way and its the best machine
I've ever used.
