This would "work in theory", but it would be DANGEROUS to the Gecko drive,
and probably at least fuzes, if not the power-source and motors, as well!

How you gonna KNOW where each setting in Kohm is on the dial? How you gonna
AFFORD a pot as accurate and stabile as a 5% film resistor costing 2¢ each?
What happens when the pot's inherent "noise" causes an "open", and the
current jumps to MAXIMUM (7 amp) when you have only a 1-Amp motor
connected????
