Now, THIS sounds like a logical approach. but one which MIGHT work only if
those attempting it use the FINEST electrical workmanship, right-size wire,
tight screw-connections, SOLDER those that should be soldered, and PROPERLY,
etc., etc.

Just that an "open" or "noise" on that I-resistor terminal means SMOKE, and
we all know "Smoking is injurious to your health", both physically and
fiscally!!!
