Al,
Good evening! Either the direction line is not sending info to the
drive or somehow the opto isolator has been fried.
To check which is which, the disconnect the direction line and send
some steps to drive. While you are doing that, take a wire from the
direction input and short it to your PC ground. It should change
direction when you do that. If it does, check your wiring. There will
be a problem there somewhere.
If it does not, send the drive back and we will check it out and fix
it the same day we get it and return it to you no charge the
following day.
