Art,
It works well. I've posted a review at least a few times in the past;
one relatively recently.
Win version Has a "hardware assist module" (read dongle, at least in
size/appearance, but don't know what might be contained inside). The
major disadvantage is poor, IMO usage of the p-port. Also older
versions had limited queue (read lookahead) and IMO, poor queue
management (cutters would stop traverse in the middle of cuts) No b/l
comp. inherant, tho' I've heard some have added it and leadscrew
comp.
IndexerLPT was used by digital tool (pittsburgh,PA out of businees
now) on hundreds of routers sold in the early 90's. Crawford millwork
(I'd like to know what happened to them.) in TX wrote a very nice dos
front end for it called "tool", sold as a retrofit to the Digital
tool users, since DT used ix only in the most basic way, and didn't
let their users know its full power.
Hope this helps,
Ballendo
P.S. need more, contact me offlist. Have both the dos and win ver.

experience with it. Is it a software only solution which runs at
90,000 pulses per second? How do you find it runs? How is it's
constant velocity contouring?

solution, I'd like to hear about its performance if anyone has driven
it.
