Not so, Art. The dongle only goes on one parallel port, while you
can output signals over up to 3 ports. Even before requiring the
dongle for the windows versions, I-LPT could do 90K PPS, or so.

I've got it and the windows g-code frontend, which I will be using
as soon as I have time to get my hands dirty.
