Hi Tim,

If you had a linear rail system to hold your 37 inch long part, it
would need 37 inches before the blade, 10 inches for the blade and
another 37 inches after the blade to allow a fully supported part to
pass. That is if you chose to go that route. Of course that is a
full lenght hold, you might be able to let then ends cantilever off
the rails, but vibration could effect accuracy and finish.

The clamp could be a vacuumm holder on said table. that would allow
you to cut very close to the end of the stock (side of the stock?)

If you slid the stock(part) in a channel, only the stock would move,
but you need to hold the stock very steady to get the tollerances you
listed.

Very interesting project you posted, seems that if you are using a
material that can take the bend, a meat slicer type saw would all but
eleminate scrap, whereas a standard circular saw blade would chew up
more than half of your parts in dust.
